George Adeshina Oguntoye

George Adeshina Oguntoye is a dedicated statistician, mathematical sciences educator, and researcher with a strong interest in data-driven research and the application of statistical methods to real-world challenges. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Statistics from the University of Ilorin, where he graduated with First-Class Honours and ranked among the top 1% of his class, as well as an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Statistics from Kwara State Polytechnic, where he graduated with Distinction and also ranked among the top 1%. His academic training spans probability, regression analysis, statistical inference, multivariate analysis, experimental design, and time-series analysis. His undergraduate research focused on time-series modelling of malaria prevalence using the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) approach. With practical experience in R, Python, SPSS, Excel, and Power BI, George has developed strong analytical and computational skills. Beyond research, he has extensive experience teaching and mentoring students in Mathematics, Statistics, Calculus, R programming, and related quantitative subjects across Nigeria and international learning environments. His research interests centre on statistical modelling, data science, public health, and the application of quantitative methods to address societal challenges. He is committed to advancing his expertise in modern statistical and computational methods and contributing to research that transforms data into reliable evidence for better decision-making, particularly within the African context.
